Design Guide - October 2023 - Winter Wonderland Box

By now, y'all have no doubt opened your box to find my two favorite items I have ever put in a box! The stars aligned for this one y'all! Those two wooden lanterns retail at $129.99- the cost of the entire box. I would've never been able to include them if it weren't for my vendor offering me a once in a lifetime special price. I should have ordered double the quantity because I want to put these things everywhere! The quality is amazing and the absence of glass in the window pains makes them perfect for outdoors. And the best part is, they are nonsesonal so you can enjoys these all year long. I can't wait to style them for all the different seasons!

But for now, let's take a look at a few of the ways you can style them with the other winter items in this box (and with some of the items from past boxes too).

Y'all know I love a good centerpiece or console table design and this one came together perfectly with the addition of the reversible buffalo check runner from the first box and the candle holders and black bead garland from the fall box.

Knowing that I wasn't going to be hanging the snowflakes on any of my larger trees (they're already super full), I cut the strings from my snowflakes so I wouldnt have to worry about hiding them when I display them this way. I plan to intermix them in some eucalytus garlnd I have (see picture below) for a touch of winter whimsy that can last all season. The small ornament bulbs fit perfectly in the thw two flocked trees to add a little intrigue. Keeping with the neutral color of blacks, grays and simple sparkles allows for them to be used all season long and not just during Christmastime. I actually popped off the top and just stuffed them into the branches for a qucik easy design.

These bulbs can also add a little somthing extra to your winter garlands...

This is a look I absolutely fell in love with especially since I plan to use the trees elswhere in my home. The snowflakes fit perfectly inside the window panes of the lanterns adding a lot of visual interest and giving the appearance of them falling from the sky. I'm totaly dreaming of a white Christmas y'all, but this will have to do for now.

Here's two other options for simper, smaller scale centerpieces using only one lantern. You could also just use the trees, If you look closely, you'll also see that I used the candle holders from the fall box as risers for the trees. They fit perfectly and I love the added height and the extra details.

And becasue I'm already getting excited to decorate these lanterns all yar long, here's a quick look at nonseasonal styling of the larger lantern using the large farmhouse white vase from the first box and the black bead garland from the fall box. My favorite part about curating these boxes for you is figuring out ways that the boxes can be mixed and matched. I'd love to see the ideas you've come up with too!

Well, y'all, there you have it, just a few ideas showcasing the many ways this box can be used. We can't wait to see how you use all of these pieces to turn your home into a winter wonderland.
